The Epic, Multi-Sensory Indulgence Features Spectacular Destinations

Invitation-Only, Money-Can't-Buy Experience is Another Benefit for Suite Guests

Brooke Shields Stars as the Voice of the Voyager

SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Nov. 7, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- A new, invitation-only experience from Princess Cruises will soon transport guests nightly to the Mediterranean – no matter where they're actually sailing – engaging all of their senses with the tastes, sights, sounds, touches and fragrances of the Mediterranean. The fully-immersive 360: An Extraordinary Experience is the cruise line's most epic experience ever offered and is now available onboard Discovery Princess and coming to Enchanted Princess in late January.

 360: An Extraordinary Experience

With the 360: An Extraordinary Experience, guests booked in suite accommodations are invited to embark on a six senses journey showcasing the spectacular hilltops of Santorini, Amalfi Coast, Barcelona and Provence. Through synchronized authentic storytelling, imagery, music, scents, cuisine and stunning visual film, guests are introduced to local ingredients, artisans, passionate purveyors, and culinary methods simultaneously mirrored with a seven-course gourmet experience including wines that emerge from the story of each destination.

"360 is a fusion of master storytelling, world-class cuisine, visual entertainment and ground-breaking technology that manifests in what can only be described as an Extraordinary Experience," said Princess President John Padgett. "360 is a remarkable adventure that immerses our guests into the compelling cultures and flavors of the Mediterranean in a 90-minute celebration of the senses."

With two seatings nightly, the cloaked venue accommodates 20 guests surrounded by LED walls in a circular format that places guests into featured destinations using stunning 4K cinematography. The Mediterranean takes center stage as guests are drawn into the memories of a fellow traveler who relives her adventures and local connections made in each destination as her travel journal comes to life.

360: An Extraordinary Experience is configurable and adaptable, with the Mediterranean taking the debut spotlight. Venue personalization is enabled by the OCEAN platform, the Internet of Things platform that powers the exclusive MedallionClass on all Princess ships, and, in addition, each guest receives a unique and limited "360" Princess Medallion that is only available to guests that have participated in the Extraordinary Experience.

Beloved actress and model Brooke Shields, renowned for her extensive modeling, film and TV careers, in addition to her latest entrepreneurial project Beginning Is Now, a global digital platform and brand inspiring inspire women over the age of 40 to live their fullest lives, is the voice of Bethany, the voyager who takes guests on the sensory journey.

An experience that is as memorable as it is priceless, 360 is currently available exclusively for guests booked in suite accommodations on Discovery Princess and Enchanted Princess or for guests sailing on the Discovery Princess or Enchanted Princess that book a future cruise with suite accommodations on any Princess ship including Princess Premier at non-cancelable rates. I wonder how you qualify for the invitation?

It’s only for the big spenders…suites and VIP gamblers & retail buyers. Recent posts have said they were contacted by Princess to be invited.

I participated in a trial for 360 a week ago Friday but had been told that it would open up to everyone with a cost thought to be $150 per person.  Interesting that they changed the criteria.

who told ya that ?

The same Princess crewmember who said that it was rolling out to all on November 5th!

I need a name or job title,  so the flogging can begin 😄

Is this going to take up space on board from us peasants? Another step towards multi-class cruising! 😡

There’s a purpose-built space next to Sabatinis on these two ships.  It’s not (much) larger than the semi-private alcoves with a similar table size in the Sabatinis spaces on Crown / Ruby / Emerald.  Look for the round space near the entry on the deck plan.

Okay, so they are invited to spend $150 each for the privilege?

Cost wasn't mentioned so I'm assuming it is free for them for now.  I wonder if this is still considered a trial?  Or if they are going to keep it as a suite / VIP casino perk, may it replace something else such as the first night specialty dinner for suite guests?  I guess we will have to wait and see what folks report.  I'm glad we got it for free.  It was fun but once is enough for us!

Hello All. I just came off 2 weeks on Discovery and it was Flawless. During our first week 360 was in the process of rolling out (California Coastal 10/15). I only knew this because a staff member was being trained for service and whispered it to me. At the Captain's Circle Cocktail Party I coincidentally met a lovely young lady who was on the ship from corporate Princess and was the Entertainment Director.  We had a warm conversation in the back of the room in which we complimented the entertainment and the beautiful new ship as well. Before she left she asked us for our names and cabin number and asked if we would be interested in an experimental dining experience that was being rolled out over the next cruise. Up for anything we said of course and we'd be delighted. The following week, we were in Sanctuary and who should appear with another young lady but our friend from the party. She specifically came to find us. They offered us the opportunity to join in this special experience the next evening and also were kind enough to also ask friends, who had coincidentally booked the same cruise we had and were in a sanctuary Cabana for the whole cruise, We all said yes. We were asked about food preferences and allergies as we would if we had booked Chef's Table.  The following night at the appointed time and place, 20 of us assembled in the piazza and this amazing experience began. We were literally sworn to secrecy and we respected the request. Well... Cat's out of the bag. The creative team responsible for 360 was present as guests at our dinner and studied our reactions and kept a few of us back afterward to ask questions and get whatever feedback we could give. We interacted with members of this team several times during the remainder of the Love Boat Cruise. The original cast of The Love Boat was on our cruise and had the 360 Experience the following night. I was able to chat with all of them individually and they were as impressed and overwhelmed as we were. The details given in the press release are accurate. There is currently no plan to make this experience a "charge +" option and the intention is to enhance the cruise experience for those in Suites and other passengers that the Cruise Line targets for specific reasons (Not necessarily solely related to spending) .  It will remain invitation only for the foreseeable future. I have these details on Excellent Authority.  I was thrilled to have done it and would graciously accept the invitation to return but it wouldn't be something I would expect.  Bottom line, if you have the good fortune to be asked, say yes. It is a remarkable and exquisitely designed experience for your senses that is unique and delicious.  Thanks to the team for including us and all the best as you present your creation to those lucky enough to experience it. SALUTE!

Thank you for the details! Love that Princess is choosing guests, making it an even more exclusive experience. They really have upped their game lately with the guest experience and sounds like they've knocked it out of the park.

I'm having a little trouble believing this DinoRamaExtravaganza is just a free perk for the big spenders--no strings attached.  Call me a cynic, but I'm waiting for the hoopla and the celebrity name dropping to die down so that rumored $150 pp can be officially announced.  I believe our CC friend from Arizona who was told this is a revenue-generating activity and not just a marketing gimmick designed to lure suite guests (who may or may not be invited to the party--it's a gamble.)

But those of you who want to roll the dice, go for it.
