Smaller Medallion?

I don't know as my wife entered the cabin first when we returned. I don't "think" it would have mattered though as it wasn't like the "board the ship" scenario where you have to physically press the Medallion to the reader.

There are two circuits in the medallion. The bluetooth opens the door lock and is used for the location function. The metal on the back will lower the range but is not too bad (in general). The other function is when you put the medallion on the blue circle. That is an NFC reader which is only good to an inch or so. If you are lucky, it may still work but it is not guaranteed.

No further issues expected from the Medallion as I will no longer use the provided holder - which was the cause of the "toonie issue". I bought some Air Pod holders that are a really tight fit and nothing can interfere with them.
