Discovery cabin E704.Deck plans say stairs do not go through

Walking down to level 6 and 5….white space on 5….cannot walk onto deck 5 from aft stairs?

how about 6? 
we were considering Deck 8 cabin aft for Hawaii because of possible rough seas & iffy weather.

anyone stayed there? The issue is access to deck 5,6,7

Correct, aft stairs only go down to deck 6.

 

And all you can access when you do go down to deck 6 aft is the aft dining room.

We were just on the Enchanted Princess D704 deck 9.  Had to take the back elevator to deck 7 to walk to the piazza area or walk the looong hallway to the center elevators on deck 9.  But it was great for the MDR in the back on deck 5 or the buffet on deck 16.

Not all ships. Island and Coral there is aft access to deck 5 & 6.

You can't be close to everything on the ship.

Yes different design. The access restrictions on these ships are forward.
