Dreamer333 Posted January 3, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2023 We mostly play the tables, but how do they keep track of how much you're gambling at the tables? We spend a fair amount but have never received any offers. It seems to me that everyone I've spoken with who have received comped cruises tend to spend all their time at the slots. Rare c-boy Posted January 3, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2023 🤔 hmmmm, never given this any thought before. I spend a fair amount of time at the tables too. I assume that the medallion might have something to do with it.

Speak with the Casino Mgr. In person. Let him know how much you play and you will begin to get offers via email. Also let him or her know when you plan to cruise again I know a few people when have done this with great success
srpilo Posted January 3, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 3, 2023 I think the cruise blogger Tony from "La Lido Loco" did a video in the last couple weeks about a test he and his wife did onboard a Princess ship where he and his wife both started with the same pre- cruise bankroll for the casino to gamble for the entire cruise, he only played Craps, and she only played slots.. At the end she got a "Come Back and Play" offer for a free cruise with the Plus package, and he only got a offer for future " $500 Free Play" So it appears in this example slots get much better ratings and offers for the same amount of play then table games do .YMMV

The dealer records each table player’s buy in and cash-out, and the pit boss tracks time and bet size. Some gamers try to increase their bets when the pit boss is watching, but I don’t know if they can manipulate their comps in such a transparent fashion. We play Blackjack and have been told that a minimum of a $25 bet on a hand gets the most bang for the buck when being rated on BJ tables and we usually always get casino offers of some kind. Rare cruzin4us Posted January 4, 2023 #7 Share Posted January 4, 2023 My DH and I always start with the same bank roll. He plays tables, I play slots. I get free balcony cruises/$500-$1,000 free play/Plus Beverage Pkg. He gets an interior cabin with $100 - $400 in free play. No doubt in my mind that the slots give you better perks
Happy2cruise Posted January 4, 2023 #8 Share Posted January 4, 2023 Just wondering how much is needed to bet to get these offers on the slots?

It seems to be not how much you gamble but time spent. We play slots at low level Around $2 to $3 per spin but play for around 3 hours or so a night. We get offers constantly for free balconies plus free play However the free play which used to be around $1,200 for the 2 of us and now the amounts are down to around $800
