I've heard nothing about the Walmart at Ala Moana closing. Their website shows the store at 700 Ke’eaumoku Street being open until 11PM tonight.

You’re right.  We were told by it was closed.  But, it was open yesterday, we later found out.

I saw it on Google too.  Thanks for clarifying.  Spoke to crew members yesterday and they said it was open.  About 4 blocks from Ala Moana mall.

Update:  The Honolulu WM that was close to Ala Moana shopping center is closed.

They moved the location, not really close to the Pier.  We went to Ala Moana shopping center to Longs/CVS and an ABC store instead.

Update on this.  The HNL walmart was open near Ala Moana mall.  It’s about 4 blocks from the mall.  Crew members reported they went yesterday to shop.

Don’t know why we were told it was closed.  Best to always recheck.  We went to the mall and did our shopping at Longs/Cvs and ABC store.

Thanks @scottca075 for telling me.

I wonder why Hilo Walmart stopped the Roberts shuttle. Last time we were there (Oct 2022) they filled up bus after bus. I'd say few hundred passengers made the trek.

The local islander in Hilo told us WM had just stopped the Roberts bus because they didn’t want to pay for it anymore.

We took the free bus to the Market Place in downtown Hilo and shopped a little instead.
