San Diego Cruise Terminal taxi/Uber availability post cruise

We've never had an issue getting a taxi or Uber, but then we are never in a hurry. We live in Coronado (and Newport Beach, it is complicated) so we get off the ship as late as we can. It is partly to stay out of the way of those who have flights to catch and partly because we like a leisurely breakfast and relaxing as long as possible.

There might be a crunch as the bulk of people get off, but with the airport just 2 miles away there are tons of cabs in the area.

If you are able drag your luggage across/up the street a little ways and request an Uber.  We just did that after a play at the SD Civic Theater and that got us away from all the crowds standing directly in front of the venue waiting for their Ubers.
