Pre and post-cruise hotels

Hello,

We are booked for a Baltic Sea cruise in the summer.  We elected not to use the Regent Air as we are making our own flight plans.  However, we are interested in booking a Pre-cruise hotel in Copenhagen and a post-cruise hotel in Stockholm.  For those of you that are using Regent, do you know which hotels they are using in these cities?  Thank you!

Call your Travel Agent.

And/or:  If you are dealing directly with Regent, simply call Regent.  Assuming your cruise is this Summer, Regent will have the hotel(s) selected for those cruisers utilizing Concierge.  Often, two hotels, depending on number of persons, and hotel availability.

HOWEVER:  a word of caution.  Things can change.  Example:  our Concierge hotel at Barcelona for a late 2021 segment to Miami changed twice--the last time within 30 days of our arrival.

Most-recently at Stockholm:  August, 2019.  Hotel was Sheraton in the heart of downtown.  Near the Train Station and several cultural sites.

Enjoy your cruise.

GOARMY!

Just remember, booking thru Regent will approx double your cost for the hotels.  Unfortunately Regent charges per person while the hotel will only charge you per room.

Musch much much better and less expensive to book yourself or thru your TA.  Yes, you won't get transfers but, doing the transfers is minimal compared to Regent's rates.

Thanks.  I'm not going to book the hotel through Regent but curious as to what hotels they use.  It would be nice to stay where we could meet up with fellow passengers before the cruise.

The Sheraton is indeed in a great location, having stayed there many times in a former life when I was in Stockholm multiple times a year on business.  Near Central Station and Gamla Stan.

Last summer in Copenhagen two hotels Regent used were the Marriott and Villa Copenhagen (former post office, very near Tivoli, unique hotel).

in 2017 we stayed at the Haymarket in Stockholm.

And yes, there was a market in front during the day!

The hotel was a 4 out of 5 stars.  Close to walking areas of the museums and waterfront.   Great food and lively nightlife...

We are on that cruise. Booked Regent Air BUT booked our own hotels via Booking.com and Marriott. Staying near Tivoli in Copenhagen (for 1 night) and at the Sheraton (for 3 nights) in Stockholm (been there before - GREAT location).

agree Sheraton is a great location.  Spent many a night there back in the 1990's.
