But dolphins, being intelligent and inquisitive creatures, will help the Captain moor the ship. Looks like the US Navy has some shiny new camels. Probably made from composite. In a way they're really just fancy fenders, but needed because of the shape of a submarine hull and the various external structures they might have below the waterline at the dock.
