Menus on 4 night cruises

I have seen the new menus posted but I’m trying to figure out which 4 are served on a 4 night cruise. Going on the Independence in May and want to figure out which nights to book specialty dining. TIA!

Day 1 - Welcome Aboard

Day 2 - French Night

Day 3 - Caribbean Night

Day 4 - ?? (no specific menu listed yet) This is our Sea Day

Curious about 5 night Bermuda on Liberty in May.

I wonder if short cruises will always use the same rotation or if the selection may vary week to week?

Just got off Mariner this past Friday.  Ours was:

1 - Welcome Aboard

2 - Italian

3 - Caribbean 

4 - French

For now, there's no limit on the number of entrees in the MDR, so if you think the portion is too small, ask for another.

This was our first cruise since 2018.  I'm not a foodie by any stretch, but I noticed a couple differences.  The presentation was more basic and the serving staff seemed to have more tables than before and less time to get to know the guests.  They were constantly going 100 miles an hour.

 

Food was alright, but nothing special. No issues ordering multiples or even special requests.  For example, I asked for 2 pork chops on caribbean night on the same plate without the rice and beans.  Italian night I had two entrees, etc.

 

We had MyTime dining and reservations the same time every night.  Our server and table changed night 2.  Night 4, we had to push for the same table, but admittedly we were a little early.  On past cruises, it was a given that you'd have the same server team and table every night.  I like having the same team so our specific requests don't need repeated.

 

Dinner each night between sit down and stand up was about 75 minutes even with multiple starters and entrees on some nights.

I'm wondering what the menus are going to be on our 15 night transatlantic.  Will they duplicate the menus?  Will we have 2 lobster nights?

I think I heard they have 8 or 10 different new menus.

Look at closer in sailings for the menu - it will be more accurate anyway.

Set the app to the current sailing and then in the daily planner choose the dining tab and then MDR.

As with all RCI IT issues, there's some weirdness going on that Indy doesn't show the menu - it usually does. Look at another ship which does 4-day sailings, like Freedom, and assume Indy will be the same.

There were guidelines written somewhere when RCC posted the menus. Everyone gets Welcome Aboard, everyone gets Italian, if you stop in Mexico you get Mexican that night, etc. 4 night sailings don’t get Royal Night sadly.

@SuperPlanner Does not having Royal Might mean no chance to have included (free) lobster in the MDR?  We are new to RCCL and going on a 4 night sailing in Early June.  Thanks!

You should be able to see the menu in the app if you set it to the closest in 4 night sailing.
