natshala Posted February 10, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2023 On my last cruise, I completely missed the boat wrt LeGrand Bistro. I spend a lot of time at Bacio and every time I passed LeGrand Bistro, it looked like nothing was going on there. I just looked at the lunch menu and it looks wonderful. Can you please fill me in on what I’ve been missing? I’m cruising an e-class ship again starting tomorrow and I’m thinking LeGrand may be my first lunch. Thanks. jelayne Posted February 10, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2023 That venue is used in the morning for the Elite Coffee House breakfast. Mid day it is a lunch venue. Originally was priced at $20 pp + gratuity but I think I read recently it was raised to $30. We had lunch their twice when we were on the Edge. Both times we had the special of the day and they were very good. It has a extensive menu and the service was excellent. At $20pp we thought it was worthwhile. However at $30 pp we decided to pass when we were on the Beyond. In the evening that space is used for Le Petit Chef.
jagoffee Posted February 10, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2023 We discovered it later in our cruise and it quickly became our favorite.
Basketball wife Posted February 11, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 11, 2023 We were on the Apex, ate lunch there on embarkation day and about Day Four and Six. Had hot items (lobster bisque/mussels/trout, etc.)—-Wonderful! However, near the end of a 14 day cruise, I ordered a baguette and hubby ordered a burger— awful. Service was slow and food cold and chewy…so, story moral, go early in the cruise, tends to get busy🥺

SSFrance69 Posted February 11, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 11, 2023 I wish they would replace Sushi on Five with this on Summit. I eat sushi at home all the time. Want something different on vacation. Would be nice to enjoy that restaurant on embarkation day when the buffet is crazy crowded. Oh well.
