Odyssey Water -- Bottled or Cans?

For those recently on the Odyssey -- was the pre-purchased water to be delivered to the room in bottles or cans?

 

I believe it can change ship to ship, sailing to sailing.

 

(No need to tell me how good the ships water is -- I drink that as well.)

Not an accurate answer to your question, but I don’t think they’re using the canned water on any ships lately.

cruise in Nov started with cans and I guess they ran out cuz plastic appeared by 3rd day.

I could see them using different supplies for different things during the same cruise!

You can never rely on a certain brand or packaging as it can vary from cruise to cruise.

On Anthem last year they were dishing out bottles & cans at the bars

Bars and in the cabin. We do not pre-order. However, I did not see anyone all week with a can of water... At least that I noticed.

 

The only time I have encountered cans was about a year ago in Allure and those were screw tops.

We were on the Jan 28th sailing on Odyssey and MDR was using the new menus. We enjoyed most of them except we skipped British night and Mediterranean night and opted for WJ instead.

Cans and Large Water Bottles kinda fell away on at least 4 Royal Ships been on last 8 Months, instead getting small cheap plastic bottles on these sailing out of USA. Figure cost savings cheap plastic wins out over more environmental but expensive Cans

I really liked the screw top cans. I wish I had kept a few.

Last April on Jewel received case of Glass metal screw top Evian 1lt. Look heavy but with long neck they tipped back easy. Not something to carry around or take to Beach

Pre-ordered 12 pack of water on Odyssey in Dec and had plastic bottles waiting in cabin on arrival.
