Using on board credit to pay for the specialty restaurants

I have booked a Silversea cruise for later this year and would like to secure a table in the specialty restaurants when bookings open. My question is will I have to pay the fee up front when I book or will they charge it to my account so that I can use my OBC? If I have to pay will I be able to use my OBC when on the ship and have the fee refunded?

Thanks in advance

How many restaurants on Muse would be speciality that you would need to pay for please?

There are two specialty restaurants on the Muse that have a fee.  Those are La Dame at $60 per guest and Kaiseki at $40 per guest.

If you book a selected shore excursion pre cruise , can the OBC be used for this booking or are you expected to pay upfront. Waiting to book onboard maybe too late if the excursion gets full. Thank you

Yes. Silversea adds the cost of any selected shore excursions to your folio onboard and your OBC will be deducted from the total at the end of your voyage.
