vision of the seas / starlink?

does anyone know if vision has starlink yet?  Also any thoughts on the quality of this ship overall?

We just got off Grandeur, no starlink, and the internet sucked big time!.  I was told Vision did have it by the IT person on board, and it would be much better than on Grandeur.  We are embarking on the 27th, so time will tell.

We got off Vision 02/06 and the internet was fast even on a lower deck in an inside cabin. So I'm guessing it has Starlink.

we are getting close to booking it soon and still doesn't seem to be anything definitive yet.

If you go on the app, select the next the sailing, and look at the planner it should have an event on the first day that says “starlink now live” if it has it

I'm on Vision currently and the internet both in our cabin and in the public areas has been very good.  Not sure if it is starlink or not, but very good response times.

The ship has starlink it did not work in our cabin 7652, I was advised by the IT supervisor to go to the center of the ship if I wanted to use my computer.  I was able to obtain wifi on my phone, to use their app, if I stood next to the cabin door.

That's a BS answer.  I was told on Grandeur I had to come down to the internet area to get a good connection.  I'll be on Vision next week, so we'll see what happens.

ISP shoudl show up as starlink if you open the link. anything that tells you IP will tell you who the provider is.

It will probably be fine on the Vision depending on the location of your cabin.  We were on the corner aft cabin on deck 7, where it didn't work.

I did a speed test while on Vision 3 weeks ago, the ip address confirmed it was using Starlink. The speed was quite good, however there were still some blackspots in the cabin (can't blame Starlink for that)

The app for Vision confirms that Vision is equipped with Voom powered by SpaceX.

Just come off vision and it is starlink , worked everywhere I went in ship speeds ranged from 3mbps to 30mbps , was able to stream at all times a great improvement on previous ships that did not have it

Welcome to CC. The on board price is about $23-25/day. The planner price is usually discounted from the on board price, so if you see the price in the planner add the discount back in and you get the on board price.
