We were there on Dec 2019 and used public buses. We went to Arashi beach which is farther away, passed Eagle on our way. Buses are very clean and nice. You can buy a round trip card.

I used the public busses while in Aruba also. They are an easy and inexpensive way to get around. They will get you to the beach and back to the Port area easily and for $5.00 round trip. A one day pass, ride all you want, is $10.00.

Was in Aruba via the Odyssey in January. When you exit the ship and go through the port shopping area right outside there is a taxi stand. Fixed prices listed on a large sign right there. I think it was $15.00 or $20 bucks U.S. total to get a ride for the 4 of us to Palm beach. It was a nice mini van. Lot's of mini van taxis. No uber in Aruba. When we were ready to head back to the port we simply went to the front of one of the large hotels and got the same deal on the return trip.

I took the public bus last time. The taxi was the better choice for us.

When in port in Aruba, we have also used the public bus to get to beaches. The station is a very short walk from the pier.  We usually go to Palm Beach so have never asked for a stop at Eagle.  Eagle is just down the road from Palm so I have to believe the bus also stops there.

There are 6 of us traveling.  Do they have larger taxis that will accommodate us (ie mini van) in Aruba.  We want to go to a beach for a day but not too far from the port (Manchebo or Eagle)

Aruba has a law no more than 5 in a taxi.
