Istanbul day tours

Recommended Posts

We did this 2-day private tour for our family of 4 when we were in Turkey last summer off the Celebrity Reflection. Our guide Beisa was amazing and we had a driver for a certain portion, which was helpful to avoid the crowds, walk to save time. It was our first time in Istanbul and we were able to cover all the principal stops, including Bosphorus cruise (other than the interior of the Blue Mosque which was under renovation).

@ind502        Besides this thread - how about using the Ports of Call Board.

Mediterranean – Eastern and Western

You can post your question(s) there also.—

Try -- Mediterranean - Eastern and Western

Then -- Other Mediterranean Ports which has page after page of comments, questions, ideas etc.  This will cover many ports including Istanbul.  There’s info on:  Independent tours, rental car, shuttle service, hotels, etc.   Check it out.  John

Looking for day tours in Istanbul.  Has anyone used Viator? Planning on staying about 4 days any suggestions for hotels, tours, etc.  Thank you

Viator is like a broker.  Why not find a reputable tour operator and book directly with them?

Howdy @lindi52

To help you out I have moved your new thread to the Ports of Call - Europe - Eastern & Western - Other Mediterranean Ports forum where it will be on topic. The majority of your fellow Cruise Critic members that have been to Istanbul frequent this forum and provide feedback here. Browse through the thread titles on this forum looking for threads of interest. You will probably find your fellow Cruise Critic members have already posted questions and received answers that may be of interest to you.

suggest you use the Follow feature on this thread or any other thread where you are interested in the replies. That way you will not have to go looking to see if there are new replies because they will come looking for you as notifications! If you need more info on how to do it, please click the following: How to: Follow Topics & Forums (Subscribed Threads/Forums Info)

Hope this will be helpful!

Happy sails,
