Suggestions for private tours in Iceland

We (2 couples) will be on an Icelandic cruise in June this year, visiting Akureyri, Isafjordur and Reykjavik.

We are looking for suggestions for well reviewed private tour operators in each of the above 3 ports.

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

Do a search in this forum for Saga Tours. Also search the individual ports.

Post #5 directly above this one is trying to help you reference this recent thread which should help you with plans for Akureyri.   As itt doesn't begin that way  you need to read it through.

Isafjordur  itself has almost nothing to offer and a shorex is advised.  You can find and read all previous threads asbout Isafjordur by using the search box directly under your user name.

Reykjavik is an easy one.  Do the Golden Circle tour.

Saga and Troll are regularly recommended.  The TripAdvisor Iceland forum has excellent advice.  If you post there be more specific about what you want to see and do.

As @edinburgher suggests, Isafjordur has VERY few resources as it is a small town quite apart from most of the country

Vigur Island is an interesting trip from Isafjordur. Agree with “do the Golden Circle tour”!

In Akureyi, these are companies that do shore excurions to Godafoss and Lake Myvatn, sagatravel.is, fabtravel.is, and arcticshorex.com....In Isafjordur, we are doing an excursion with arcticshorex.com to Dynjandi Falls & Westfjords.

Oh, is it really that easy?  🙂   What about the South Coast Tour, stunningly beautiful from start to finish.  🙂   [I'm hoping the OP has two days in Reykjavik]

As the OP didn't mention being in  Reykjavik for two days, I sort of assumed it was a one day call, same as the other two named ports.

Yes, would agree that a south coast tour would be ideal if they had two days or a very very late night departuire time on a one day call as the south coast would need a  longer time to complete.
