Dropping off carry-on

I didn't know I could have dropped off our carry ons when we were on Equinox.

I believe Celebrity started this in 2019. That's when we first were made aware of the new procedure.

I never do that.  If we are not at T#1, we simply go up to the VCL and have a seat to relax.  I wander off,  leaving Bucky with the carry on bags, to bring us back a beer/wine until cabins open.

Even worse....years ago, while sailing out on little MJ out of PC, I was sitting in the VCL waiting for cabins to open.  Happened to glance out as we were moving out of the port, still in the channel, and saw a large purple suitcase floating out with the current next to us, trailing the RCI luggage tag.   

 

I called out:  Anyone check a large purple suitcase?  😲
