Do you know if a platinum member could take their grandchildren along?

Unlikely.

Somehow my husband and I have accumulated a different number of latitude points, even though we were on the same cruises in the same stateroom each time.. I was platinum; he wasn't . Only I could go on the tour. then there was Covid. This next cruise, we'll be sure to sign up for the tour.

Are you able to go on the tour if you use a rollator or foldup scooter?

When I did it on the Star last week, there were 5-6 flights of stairs involved. For example, it was 3 flights from the theater stage up to the dressing rooms.

But could he eat at Teppanyaki??

Ha ha, yes, I was going to ask for the kids menu but didn't think he could pass for 12.😉

It was a disappointing tour, theater, laundry and brief kitchen stop with 2 groups of 15 each and lasted less than 45 minutes. I had done 2 quite a few years ago and saw a lot more.

The tour involves moving up and down narrow, steep crew stairs and in small spaces. While they will allow passengers to use crew elevators, you are likely going to be playing "catch up" with the rest of the group. The Platinum tour typically includes the theater dressing rooms, [sometimes] provisioning freezers, laundry, and galley.

What is price for the tour if you are not yet platinum?

It's $89 but is a much longer tour than the free platinum tour.

Going on the Joy at the end of May, hoping the tour returns, since I turned Platinum, it has been closed.

I hope that they will have it on the JOY.  It used to be free for Platinum and above, and it will be our first cruise on the Joy, so I would love it.
