American Diner Embarkation Lunch!

Everything was delicious! Mozzarella Sticks, Fish Basket, Cheeseburger,  and Mahi Mahi Sandwich. The DW and I spilt the plates between us to try everything. No charge on the receipt for Haven guests on day 1.

We've never done the spa before, but with facing several states having spring break this week we splurged and decided to get the Thermal Spa Passes for the week. At least we will have an escape if the Haven gets over run with kiddos. More photos of the spa to come soon...

This muster drill crap sucks. The last few cruises we took it was an e-muster situation...Watch a video ahead of time and when you board simply scan your card to verify you know where your station is...Why would they change this back to the old way?

Boo!!! Hiss!!! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Our fellow lifeboat lifeboat members. I don't see any other Alpha males, so the DW and I should be all set for water bottles and fish we catch. It's just like the prison yard...You got to establish yourself as the big dog on day one. 🤪

Uneasy feeling when your luggage hasn't arrived and the ship starts leaving the dock...😨😰😟

There is no sad comment. Hopefully, it will appear shortly!

A) That's a good reason for having travel insurance, (Not that that does any good when you can't necessarily replace what was in the bag while on the ship.) B) Makes me think that maybe we'll do what we did on our 12 say cruise - 1 pack back and a carry on. If "they" don't have it, "they" can't lose it. We do get two free bags of laundry and we can always wait for the mid=cruise sail.

Hope your bags turn up soon.

Well, the muster drill police will arrive shortly to tell you how important the muster drill is, that your function is too sit down/shutup/and listen to the crew yelling at you.  According to them, the drill is mostly to train the crew and  you should be very grateful for them allowing  you to help them train.  BTW, I fully share your observation.  There is nothing in the inpersonmuster drill to recommend it over the emuster.

BTW, we just got home in here in Northern Alabama after departing Breakaway this morning at 0830.  Tell 'Sunshine', the hostess in the haven restaurant that Don and Charlie said Hello.  She is wonderful.  The Surf and Turf are excellent. So is the Trout and the Prime Rib.

Question:  love your room. What type of room is that? I've not seen one quite like it.  We were in 12904 and aft haven and it was wonderful.

We just came back from the Haven bar and our bags had arrived

 Whew!!

16 cruises and this is the LATEST we've ever received them. We met many others at the bar saying the same, missing bags, delayed arrivals, etc.

Muster drill police...Lol! Feels like the truth!

We are in cabin 16128 - It is an handicapped room which is why it is slightly larger than you might expect.

Before the naysayers come out, yes, I am handicapped. I don't see reason to share those details. 😀

Side note, we are left the dock 2 hours late. Unsure why. Will investigate. I'm thinking the hour lost to daylight savings delayed provisions...

Sitting on the balcony with the DW watching the scenery go by.

Dinner tonight at Ocean Blue. Stay tuned...

If you make it to Le Bistro, the lobster thermador is wonderful.   I had it on Tuesday and wife loved it so much she had it on Friday.  BTW, the Dover Sole is great too.

Here's a bit of news for you.  The concierge while escorting us off Breakaway told us that Breakaway on your cruise will be in Cozumel the same time as Prima.  You'll bet an early view of that ship.

Thanks for the insight! We have Le Bistro planned one night, can't remember which. My wife had the Lobster Thermidor on a previous sailing and loved it. I haven't tried the Denver Sole yet and I was planning on that. We'll see!

I've toyed with ordering  the Sole several times and finally tried it.  It was wonderful.

Would you do me a favor?  It appears that I may have left a pair of hearing aids in 12904.  The butler's name was Romel and the steward Edumundo.   Would you mind asking the Concierge if they'd been found?  I hate to bother you with this but I'm not sure how else to proceed.

Luggage showed up! We've put everything away and I've transitioned into shorts!

I still can't believe it, but after 16 cruises we STILL overpack...🤯🤯🤯

If you need shoes, stop by our cabin.

We took my parents on a cruise with us once. My mom brought an entire suitcase of just shoes.
