Sit down menu for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. 

 

At Breakfast they offer a small buffet display with a selection of items you can grab on the go quickly or enjoy at your table.

That's nice they have quick options as well as sit-down options. Are the almond croissants as good as other people have said?

Kids overtaking the Haven pools and tubs - Yes...they have as much a right to be there as anyone, but is it necessary for them to make a ruckus and be annoying? 🤪

BTW, the head bartender in the Haven makes a very good Matador cocktail.  Very similar to a whiskey sour but different.  My wife hates whiskey but she loved his Sours.  I tipped him a few bucks extra and he had no problem giving me some very heavy pours to take to my balcony for a night cap.  Tekl him the guy that drank all his Blanton says Hi.

We asked the Concierge, Omar, about getting into Syd's early without lining up and he has us meeting him at 19:25 in the Haven Lounge to take us in the back way. Show starts at 20:30. We had such a great time last night, we don't want to risk not getting in for tonight's show! Dinner was scheduled for 19:00, but we've moved it to 17:45 to accommodate the show! 

 

The VIP Captain's Meet and Greet is tonight in the Haven Courtyard. Hard Pass!

We love the shows at Syd's.  The final night is especially fun, if you're of a certain age.

I would have loved Moderno.  I've had weight reduction surgery which strictly limits how much I can eat. For example, I ordered the Surf and Turn in the Haven.  No appetizers, no salads, no desserts.  I ate the filet and maybe a third of the potatoe.  I gave the lobster tail to the wife.  I was stuffed.  I had half a waffle and two strips of bacon one morning for breakfast.

Omar is a good concierge.  

We passed on the Meet and Greet too.  

I spent too many years in the military and civil service to want to do more of those.  

We call 'em a Grip and Grin down south.

Dinner for day 2 in Moderno! We ate too much...Stuffed!!! They have a large salad bar you start with, plus offer sides at the table...We declined the sides, but that didn't stop nearly every server asking if we wanted them...Great variety of meat cuts available, as well as the roasted pineapple with brown sugar, a DW favorite! She was able to sweet talk the server into getting a pile of this! 😆😆😆 Green card up means they keep coming...Red card up means you are done!

Her DH is a pasty and looks like he'd rather be anywhere else.
