bschmitt Posted March 12, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2023 Does anyone know if water can be obtained as part of the beverage package. Will never drink that much coffee or alcohol, but would like bottled water.

Thats what we experienced on the Eurodam last Fall, but sometimes a bar would give you screw top water. Made no sense to me as the cost for the screw top containers were below $11, but thats what they did
Rare terrydtx Posted March 12, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2023 Yes they are 12 oz canned water some with a pop top and some with a screw top. IMO the canned water has a harsh metalic taste and I do not like them. You can also order a 6 bottle package of one liter premium bottled water for your cabin for about $25 for 6 bottles, this is a good way to use OBC. Laminator Posted March 12, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2023 On my upcoming 9 day cruise on the Rotterdam the SBP was $471. The HIA package was $382. No reason to even consider the SBP.
CruiserBruce Posted March 13, 2023 #5 Share Posted March 13, 2023 Pretty sure the drink package rules are the same on all ships.
Nola26 Posted April 25, 2023 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2023 We are considering the soda package, but it's not clear how it works. I am expecting to be able to order a soft drink at dinner, at a bar or lounge even in the casino and get a beverage. However, the fine print indicates that: Guests will be issued one specialty cup to be used in connection with this promotion. The cup is not replaceable. Do I need to this cup to get a drink? I know it stipulates that it only includes fountain drinks, but is this a self-service program such that I need to have a cup on my hand whilst on the ship? The promotional cup only applies the the Freestyle machine on Koningsdam, N. Statendam and Rotterdam. It doesn't affect your ability to have a soft drink in a restaurant or similar, or at all on any other ships.

When you first board there will be tables with crew taking orders for drink packages and specialty restaurant reservations. We placed the order for the bottle water package with the Beverage representative and by the time we came back from lunch the bottles were in our cabin. You can reorder during the cruise with room service too. I have not seen anywhere to book this online prior to the cruise. Bottled water packages can be pre-purchased online. They are listed under Beverages in the Manage My Booking area.
