Rtowncruiser Posted March 14, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2023 I know Royal Caribbean (Navigator OTS) has one shuffleboard court on deck, but do any of the Celebrity ships have any secreted away? I wish the Solstice had a court instead of the bocce ball or unused grassy areas. What about other cruise lines?
omeinv Posted March 14, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2023 None of the Celebrity ships have shuffleboard anymore. I don't know about other lines. Harris Denver, CO
sunandsnow Posted March 15, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2023 Boccee is not available anymore on the Silhouette. There were two ping pong tables and a foosball table on the ship.
TeeRick Posted March 15, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2023 My son and I would enjoy playing shuffleboard on RCCL cruises when he was younger. I have not seen this on any Celebrity ship.

We sometimes have to find someone to get the balls put out, but never unable to play.
In Toronto Posted March 15, 2023 #6 Share Posted March 15, 2023 That is something that I wondered about. Where do you go to get the balls for bocce? We will probably not get off the ship in a few of the ports and might like to pay a game.
sunandsnow Posted March 16, 2023 #7 Share Posted March 16, 2023 I went to Guest Relations and they said it was no longer available.

Weird, we saw people playing bocce on the lawn on Silhouette in February…maybe they brought their own? 🤷♀️
Cap_D Posted March 16, 2023 #9 Share Posted March 16, 2023 Makes no sense that there are not shuffleboard grids on the deck on the Edge class ships. We've observed several places where it would be unobtrusive and offer a standalone small group activity in addition to the ping-pong tables. The cost to add would be the time of the person who's already on the ship to paint the grid, and the small amount of equipment needed. It's a no-brainer.

sunandsnow Posted March 17, 2023 #12 Share Posted March 17, 2023 Who knows. Maybe they were available. Several times on our cruise we received wrong information. Shore excursions employees, guest relations, the app, etc. I guess I should've asked at the bar???
