Using our specialty reservations on friends to join us?

Curious if we can use some of our specialty reservations allotments on friends, or must they use theirs?  We won’t be using all our book-ahead specialty reservations.    Can I use some of ours on them so we can dine together?  Or must they use theirs?

AFAIK  they must use theirs

 

But may be different now if you are a VIP 🤔

We were in an A1 cabin and were able to include friends in a B cabin for dinner reservations.   You need their booking number.  It counts as 1 of their reservations.

I suppose your friends could just give your cabin number when they get to the restaurant????

Facial recognition is a thing, that may be an embarrassing incident.  

 

I'd just take your friends to the concierge and ask him to book them in your place, but make the reservations pre-cruise so he can just insert them in "your" slot.
