Any perks to booking another cruise while onboard?

We've cruised 9 times but never did this and never really thought of if it's any advantage.  Thinking of doing it on our next cruise.

Here is a recent thread. The above is true if you book nonrefundable and not a short cruise.

 

I booked refundable 2nd solo so paid $250 regular deposit and $75 obc. For a 7 day.

 

It varys by what you book.

We booked a suite last month while on a cruise and paid the reduced deposit. Don't know if it was a different promotion or not.

Some destinations don't have the reduced deposit either.  I remember back in 2019, my friend booked a Bermuda cruise but for some reason, at that time, Bermuda cruises did not have the reduced deposit and still had the standard 250/person deposit.

There is a workaround to this however.We have on occasion booked less than a full suite while on board, received the reduced deposit perk and $100 OBC, upgraded to a full suite weeks later, and didn’t have to make up the other $150/pp deposit, but the OBC went up from $100 to $300.

The last time I booked onboard (in 2019) I was entered into a raffle and won a few hundred dollars OBC. Do they still do that?

I don't think so.  I just booked a cruise on board.  Was not told about a raffle.

I seem to remember the raffle was only offered for the first couple of days of the cruise.
