Big Changes to the casino Club Royale & free offerings....your thoughts?

From what I understand there is just one new particular offer which recently came out. It is for one person in a cabin only. I have heard nothing about sweeping changes to mirror this particular offer. IMO offers come and go and this is just something different.

I read that the comped cruises from the Club Royale are dramatically changing.  Your thoughts?

Where did you read this? Could you provide a link? I have not noticed any changes with the exception that the new post COVID minimum for a free cruise is now 1200 points instead of 800 points earned during a cruise. I am still getting offers for free cruises several times a month, which is the way it has been for awhile.

I have 3 offers currently pending, including the one you mentioned. I am planning to call today to book two cruises and possibly three, depending on this offer…does it mean one person free in a cabin period or does it mean one person free in a cabin with two people in the cabin.

It seems to be one free (other than port fees/taxes) and the other pays a "discounted" rate, plus fees/taxes.  The question becomes what is the actual discount that is being given for the "paid" rate.  I believe some have seem a small discount from the web page rate.  Others, not so much.  I guess is depends on the cruise and which represenatative you speak with.

yeah...almost all offers are coming in as only the named player is comped. The other in the cabin (spouse) has to pay. When I called to check on this I was given examples down to the penny. That discounted extra fare is in fact charged at double price and then discounted 40 or 50 %

i.e....if you had no offer and each person was charged $1000.00 fare...plus taxes and port charges, with the offer you pay $0.00 fare plus port and taxes. Your spouse pays $2000.00 (less 50%) plus port and taxes.

My wife is Signature and her offers are no better than mine as prime.
