How does Holland inform you that your guarantee cabin was assigned?

From other lines, I know the rough guess on timing, I am just curious if we will get an email or if it will shop up in the app or if we will need to login regularly online to check once we are in that window that it could be assigned.

It typically shows up on your bag tags first.

 

You will get an email that your reservation "has changed". At point, looking on line, or in the app will reveal the assignment.

I have always received an email from HAL anywhere from a week to 10 days before the cruise. If I'm not happy with the cabin assignment location I call the HAL Inventory Dept. to see if there is something better and if there is a cheap upgrade available. Works for us.

That has not happened in a very long, long time.  In my experience in shows online exactly at the same time on the boarding pass and luggage tags. It seems to take a while on navigator in my experience.

At about 2.5 weeks out, we check HAL's web site daily.  Sometimes more than daily, it shows up where it used to show your particular category.

It will/should show on your manage my cruise page as well as luggage tags.
