sports bars and playoff games

Will Princess show the NBA playoff games and if so, where is the best place to watch?? I’m thinking maybe MUTS but it might be too cold so wondering if also a bar or in cabin? I’m on Royal Princess next week if that makes a difference.

I never watch basketball playoffs on a cruise ship. But I purposely booked Cruises during the Super Bowl on Princess because I love watching them on the big screen movies under the stars. It’s almost as nice as being there.

Oh yes we’ve also seen the Super Bowl on the big screen before and loved the atmosphere!! Guess we are not sure if basketball playoffs are considered “big” enough to show on the big screen (or anywhere at all?)

So the Cubs probably won't be "big" enough for a random July game either?  jk, but hoping it's on in one of the bars!

MUTS - unlikely to nope, until it gets to the finals. Regular playoffs, we've not seen in MUTS.

But yes, usually on Casino TV's. And TV's 8n cabin..  finals, again, maybe in Vista or such along with MUTS, maybe. 

Definitely casino though, if they get the feeds...

They will definitely show in the Casino or if you are on a Grand class ship, they will usually show in "Shooters" or whatever the smoking bar is onboard.  Sometimes they are shown in skywalkers also.

 

The Royal class ships will likely only show in the Casino EXCEPT for the Majestic which has a large room with several TVs adjacent to the Casino.

For the NCAA tournament on the Ruby it was on MUTS & channel 21 (special events) in the room.

The casino bar told me they only had one channel...

I’m afraid the casino will be too smoky… prefer muts or a lounge but glad to hear also available in cabins!

that’s an idea… maybe move away from piazza so there’s actually seats too
