Anybody had the free daily drinks on RCI for Diamond/Diamond Plus members?

Just booked our first RCI cruise in quite a while.  We are diamond members and believe we now get 4 free drinks each a day.  I assume they will be same as we used to get early evenings in the Diamond lounge, spirits and wine but no cocktails.   Is this correct?  Did you enjoy this new system?   Sounds better to me as I believe you can order from any bar at any time of the day,  would be great to hear from anyone who has experienced this.

Yes we enjoyed the new system, Diamond room not the same anymore. 4 drinks per day is nice.

There should be no problem getting cocktails with Diamond vouchers. At least to the value of $15USD.

Anything at any Bar to the value of $15US, new system works well with Bar Staff informing you when your out of ammo😭

We much preferred this new way.

just have to remind staff to use it as your diamond drink.

can still use diamond lounge for your free snacks and breakfast.

Not so many people in the diamond lounge now but free drinks are really good.   Coffee machine in the diamond lounge terrific during the day.

 

no drinks bill makes a difference.  Enjoy!🍷

I love the new system, and some cocktails are included. Just ask the barman, is a mojito included as my Diamond drink? They will soon tell you.

Not sure about that one Bob. Some Americans on our last cruise we’re discussing it so not completely sure! No harm done at all IMO.

Has anyone had experience in buying the drinks packaged lately,being D or D +.

 The diamond drinks are enough for me but which is the best discount?

 

You can get a pretty good discount on a bottle of wine and then you use a voucher when buying it.  A bottle of wine for $22 isn’t to bad.

Found if you only wanted a soft drink to let the bar staff no not to use your free drinks for it, no point using the freebies for a $3 drink
