Does Princess offer a shuttle service on disembarkation to LAX and if so is it a private shuttle and how do I find the info?

There may be some end-of-cruise excursions which may include transfer to LAX, but if you're only looking to get to the airport, you can book a transfer under the Travel section of the cruise personalizer. Transportation is typically by bus.

It’s currently $34 a person.  If you booked through a TA/CVP they will need to book it for you. Others have mentioned where to book it on the website if you don’t have TA/CVP.

Book the early bus, unless you really like to sit on a bus for a long time. We made the mistake, once. Now we take a rideshare or taxi.

If onboard, can book thru guest services. There are excursions for people with later flights that book via the shore excursion desk.

There were about nine coaches leaving San Pedro for Lax from our cruise. We found this out from the list of coloured disembarkation labels and times.

 

The lady we spoke to at guest services did not have a clue and could only tell us that the coaches went to all terminals and stopped ‘on request’. 

 

We had thought we might be tight on time, so this wasn’t an option for us..we took a taxi.

 

The transfer would have been about the came cost but we would have needed to wait for coach to fill up, then possibly drop off at several terminals.

 

Hopefully someone who has done the transfer will offer more details.

If you feel that your flight time will be very tight...then I would not suggest doing a transfer.  We always book our outgoing flights with plenty of "pad" time to allow for transfer delays.  Yes, you generally wait a few minutes for a bus to fill, and unless you are one of the first terminal drop=offs there will be another delay.  Unless you are familiar with the airport layout and routes for buses you can't really estimate that one.
