Have it All and Casino Rate Booking

I just booked a casino rate and when I tried to book the Have It All through the Manage My Booking site, it said HIA was not available for my reservation.  I seem to recall reading recently that HIA was now available with Casino Rates.  Anyone know the answer?

We booked a Casino room last week and when I asked about adding HIA (wanted to think about it) she said to just let her (PCC) know and we could add it anytime. I know in the past we could do it oursleves online but maybe not anymore?

Had the same experience last month with our cruise, despite the website offering up the HIA, when we clicked it, it said not available for my reservation. If others are able to get it, must be some other reason we could not?

I have sailed 2 cruises with casino rate and HIA and booked 2 more with the same, no problem. You need to talk to someone else

I agree.  Our last cruise was a casino, and we had HIA.  What casino or other "special rates" do not allow are special OBC'S like Carnival and Veteran's, the stated basis being that the rates are already discounted.  HAL is being paid by the cruiser for the HIA.  It wouldn't make sense to restrict the additional revenue.

Same thing happened to us. I called HAL and spoke to someone who said I would have to refair at a much higher rate in order to get HIA. I asked to speak to a supervisor and supposedly did who told me the same thing. Months later I took an upsell and went online and was able to purchase HIA.

Did you try calling in? We added it to 2 Casino cruises last year and booked a Casino cruise just last week (for June) and was offered to add HIA for the standard $50/day/pp . We are undecided and told to call in if we decide to add it.

I think the problem is just that HIA can't be purchased on-line with Casino bookings.

I've added HIA to casino fares (not just "casino discount" but "free" cabins).  BUT, I could not add it to the 2 5-night sailings I tacked on to the end of the Rotterdam TA I just did because those 2 segments were 5 nights each.

I just got off the phone with a cruise consultant over this matter.  I have an Alaska sailing in Sep I wanted to all the HIA to.  There was nowhere online to do so.  The CC tried to add it and she said it was coming up "not combinable" and therefore she was unable to add it.  My sailing is a VIP sailing, so not sure if that makes a difference.  I guess I will try again another day and not call my cruise consultant, and see if it can be added by someone who knows a way to make it work.

We are booked on a comp casino offer. I had the HIA offer pop in the app and online, did research but did not book. I went back and the offer wasn't there. I called later and was able to add it no problem. After adding it the online offer showed up again.

My guess is it's a technical issue. Keep checking then ultimately call if needed. My comp has to be less than a casino rate so I wouldn't think that's the limiter.

I had this problem trying to add it to my casino booking. got the msg saying not available on this booking. I switched to a different browser and was able to add it with no issues.

I am unable to book the HIA online for my cruise next January.  I do not have a casino rate but a special offer for a free inside cabin, 22 night Antarctica cruise on the Oosterdam.  Booked a special fare last year on the Rotterdam and the HIA was available.  Not sure if the HIA is worth the price, HAL doesn't include gratuities like Princess.  I would have to drink a boat load of drinks to make it worth it, lol.....

Not really - at 4 drinks a day (not a "boat load" by most vacation drinking standards - one in the day, one pre dinner cocktail, glass a wine at dinner and one drink in evening watching a show .. with gratuities you are close to the $50/day depending on what you drink (you're over $50 if they are all at the $11 limit).

If you like "good" coffee and want a cap or espresso throw that extra cost in there. Want to take a can or two of water to your cabin or to shore .. add those in there.

And that also assumes there is an inherent $0 value to you to have Wifi, a night of speciality dining and $100 towards a shore excursion.

Only question I have now is I've already purchased shore excursions.  If I purchased HIA will I receive credit for these excursions or do I have to cancel them and rebook?

I would think that would be the case but not sure.

I did go ahead and purchased the HIA package but had to use a different browser.  Safari wouldn't work so I used Firefox.

Maybe a version thing - it was opposite for us - works in Safari but not in Chrome 🤔

Yes, I discovered that HIA is not available for 5 day cruises (my first segment in December was 5 days).  I was told that the minimum cruise to purchase HIA was 7 days.  I did have it on my other 2 segments.

I purchased HIA on a casino cruise, on line, having already purchased excursions.  HAL credited my account with the costs of the excursions.

I am on a different type of discounted rate for a 7 day alaska cruise.  The room that is booked under the online "normal price" gave me the ability to add HIS but the room under the "discounted fare" didn't show an option for HIA online.  I called ship services and they couldn't add it either.  They sent me to reservations and they were able to add it to the booking.  They added the total cost ($65 cad per day x7 days) of the package onto the fare.
