Almost immediate use of Future Cruise Deposit

Could anyone let me know if I can purchase a FCD on a cruise and then, whilst still on the cruise, book a cruise using the Deposit?

Or do I have to wait until we have returned home.

You can definetely use it while on your cruise.

Yes, we've done it. You also get OBC applied to the newly booked cruise.

A recent change you may not know is that you used to get 2 years on your FCD, It's now one year, should you not apply it right away.

I much prefer to hand paper to person (I don't know who will do this now that they are consolidating departments).

Future cruise consultants can buy the credits in the system and see them immediately in my experience. Even before the email comes out.

Yes, immediately after your credit card is charged for the FCD.

It is my understanding that the tasks of the on board Princess captains circle loyalty person is being outsourced to ONE, the sales force hired for on board cruise sales and I believe also those awful phone calls.

I’ve literally had them do the FCD and then immediately book for us to stay onboard.

When we book a cruise with a future cruise consultant, they usually book a FCC before booking the cruise and apply it immediately to the new booking.
