I'm not sure that this isn't a Miller Lite thing.  Or possibly a Carnival thing.  On our cruise in February, pretty much every ML did this.  Bar staff and waiters even warned about it.  Was very strange.  We were thinking possibly a way Carnival was processing or handling that was causing it.  But then we had a few do it at home, so now thinking it might be a ML thing.  It can't just be coincidence that it keeps happening.

Interesting.  It would be silly to think Miller Lite is focused on improving product, but the second thing that came to mind was better malting process, resulting in better wort, so that when yeast was added to fermentation tanks more Co2 was produced by the yeast having more grain sugars.

Wow, you sound just like Robert the brewmaster on the Celebration doing his brewery tour! I just nodded and kept drinking the freebees! :classic_biggrin:

so does this mean there’s no more bar in the casino?! That seems crazy?! How does that work?

If you want a drink you ask one of the roaming servers to get you a drink.

After the last few days, you both need a good night’s sleep. Slept well and have fun!

Gonna enjoy my coffee out on Serenity. We have a situation to discuss. Got my fancy Chef’s Table envelope today, and looks like it’s gonna be held Thursday (Porto). We have to meet at Alchemy at 5:30. Well, here’s the conundrum; we’re in port until 6:30, and we have that Porto food tour (of course) that goes 12:30-4. Even if we COULD make it back in time, little chance I’m hungry at that point. It’s a bummer, because I’ve been looking so forward to chefs table (and beauties is a great venue for it) and have never made it happen…. We have it booked for night one on Celebration NYE, so I get it, I won’t win this one and we will likely cancel it. Just a bummer.

oh well. I’m enjoying morning coffee on a quiet Serenity in the med, life is grand as can be

Do you know if the hot tub in the gym/spa is still there? On the Miracle it was quietly removed a while back and I am wondering if it survived the dry dock.

good question. I’ll try to check for you later!
