what are the chances we can find an unobstructed balcony view that far out?

That is low season but availability will vary by ship and prices may be higher than now.

Normally, DH and I book a year or two out.  My mom and I want to do a cruise the first week in December, but can’t book till Sept.  what are the chances we can find an unobstructed balcony view that far out?

What ship, what itinerary, what port of embarkation?  Many variables.

We want cheapest, out of FL… currently that is explorer

Contact a TA to inquire about group rates and if they are available.  Group rates are usually the cheapest and they are refundable.  You won't find these rates on the public website or through Royal direct.
