Savings coupons

Does anyone know if shipwide savings coupons are tied to the cruise reservation or can I use them freely during the cruise? Does the staff check if you have the right to use them?

are you asking about a coupon book that someone else got that you now have access to?

You can use them.  I've posted them several times on the boards.

I obtained a coupon book through an online link.  I used the 20% off at the Princess logo shop on the CB with minimal issues.  At no point was the legitimacy of the coupon questioned.

I got 20% more value from my OBC using it. So, yes.

I received the digital coupon book for my cruise.  The only coupon I used was the $20 for the casino.  They did ask for my cabin number.

The coupons are very generic and more of a marketing tool than anything else.  They are no longer provided in a booklet but digitally and you have to print your own pages out for coupons that you want.  While I get them for some of my sailings, I imagine anyone could print a copy.  I’ve used it once in the gift shop, once for,a bottle of wine (just the basic house wine) in the specialty restaurants and a few times in the casino.

I tried a board search and a Google search. No actual coupons. Just links to this discussion and coupons for discounts on cruises. Can anyone post a link to the actual, printable, coupons?

Now that the books are coming in digital form they won't any longer work for door stops or coasters. DARN!
