Summit drydock changes?

We're considering a Summit cruise in early December after the October drydock.  Anyone hear any info on planned changes for the ship?

She was already revolutionized and X has said they've paused all other ships revolutionization so I doubt any major changes other than replacing worn carpet and other soft goods.  Drydock could simply mean routine maintenance/inspections

We were on the Summit in February and with the 2019 revolutionization it feels almost like a brand new ship. We loved the job they did on her.

We were on summit in March it was fine , except water for shower could have been hotter and we were in royal suite.

I was on the summit twice last year and everything was perfect.   Great ship.

I wouldn't expect much.   The dry dock is mostly for maintenance of the ship propulsion system.  They will probably also repaint the hull and clean up any rust.    They usually also freshen the soft goods - 

 

I really doubt there will be any infrastructure change that will be substantially noticeable.   She already went through the Revolution and has the Retreat Sun Deck and Retreat updated lounge.

When is this dry dock supposed to occur? I cannot seem to find it.

The Summit has not suspended/canceled the sale of any cruises in the month of October.

She had one in 2019 to be revolutionized, and another one in January, 2022.  Hard to believe there’s another one this October unless it’s an unexpected problem.

I was on the Summit in July of 2022 and there were plenty of places of bad rust around windows, on balconies and other outside railings.  Let's hope they can do something about that while in dry dock.

Why do people get soooooo upset about a bit of rust ?

the steel is not paper thin like on a car, the ship is not going to fall apart

On cruisedeckplans it says about Celebrity Summit "Next drydock planned for Oct 2023"

I read somewhere else that they are converting the family aft rooms into suites
