Portable fans

I was wondering if you can request a fan on HAL ships or if I need to bring a small one with me.  We're going to Alaska next month and I sleep better with moving air in the room, and since we don't have a window that opens I'd like to have a fan. I've seen lots of vlogs that mention asking for one but that not all lines still do this. Does anyone know if I'll be able to do this on the Volendam?

You can definitely request one and you can do so ahead of time.   I had one on the Volendam in the spring.  Be aware there are limited plugs on the Volendam so you may want to bring some kind of electrical cord with multiple outlets, just not a surge protector

We bring a small one 4 inch and keep it on the night stand.

Since outlets are limited, you could bring a battery fan.

I've been looking at a little usb charged one but if I can request one I'll do that. Save room in the suitcase 😊

No charge for the fan.

We have been on 45 day Rotterdam and 35 day Koningsdam 2022/2023. We requested and given a regular fan, no charge. Room steward left an extension cord but we didn't need it.
