Fortunate 2 travel Posted June 30, 2023 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2023 In my case yes, it was added to the final payment. It does change the price of insurance if you have the Princess protection. Other people have advised that it is the same price if you purchase on embarkation day. Then it would not add to your insurance price.

Thanks FP. But you can just wait until embarkation day and charge it to your cabin account.
seeyouinthesun Posted June 30, 2023 #5 Share Posted June 30, 2023 Usually final payment unless you have a promotional rate like a casino discount.

We rarely see the plus package on our casino offers anymore. Jus free balcony and $600 per person in free play
palolake Posted July 1, 2023 #8 Share Posted July 1, 2023 Someone on another post said that, if you wait to purchase onboard, it only included beverages and not the wifi and gratuities. Has anyone waited to purchase and did it included all three?

It would be odd if the plus/premier package offer differed if bought online.

Smooth and seamless and it appeared on the app as a purchased package instantly. 3

I don't have an OBC issue, and I plan on using some gifts cards. So, if I add it, I'd prefer to get it out of the way before we board. And what if they announce a price increase after final payment but before we board. Of course, I'd add it early for sure then.

But if you purchase insurance on your own, you should also add it into your insurance. Because if you end up not being able to sail, Princess will not give you the money back for that package. If you buy it before boarding, Princess will consider it part of the cruise cost.

I thought that only the fare is "non-refundable" and would be covered by insurance. I guess that makes sense though.

But that’s the way it is.
