I have a b2b booked for next spring, if I decide to add princess plus does the cost get added to final payment or is it paid when added to booking?

Thanks

FP.  But you can just wait until embarkation day and charge it to your cabin account.

Usually final payment unless you have a promotional rate like a casino discount.

We rarely see the plus package on our casino offers anymore. Jus free balcony and $600 per person in free play

Someone on another post said that, if you wait to purchase onboard, it only included beverages and not the wifi and gratuities.  Has anyone waited to purchase and did it included all three?

They may be confusing the beverage packages with the plus/premier packages. It would be odd if the plus/premier package offer differed if bought online.

I am just off Sky Princess and bought the Plus package (drinks, Wifi, gratuities) on board as soon as we boarded at guest services. Smooth and seamless and it appeared on the app as a purchased package instantly.

In my case yes, it was added to the final payment.  It does change the price of insurance if you have the Princess protection.  Other people have advised that it is the same price if you purchase on embarkation day.  Then it would not add to your insurance price.

I likely will go that path, but I wonder if one adds it after final payment if that also would escape the insurance price increase?  I don't have an OBC issue, and I plan on using some gifts cards.  So, if I add it, I'd prefer to get it out of the way before we board.  And what if they announce a price increase after final payment but before we board.  Of course, I'd add it early for sure then.

if you purchase Princess insurance, they will add the package into your insurance amount. But if you purchase insurance on your own, you should also add it into your insurance. Because if you end up not being able to sail, Princess will not give you the money back for that package. If you buy it before boarding, Princess will consider it part of the cruise cost.

Ahh, I see.  I would have thought it would be refunded just like purchasing OBC, or tips, or excursions.  I thought that only the fare is "non-refundable" and would be covered by insurance. I guess that makes sense though.

It makes no sense to me! They aren’t out anything! I think it’s a scam. But that’s the way it is.
