What happens when excursions are cancelled?

I hear the Skagway Rail Union has voted to strike and the strike will begin in about 30 days. Wife and I are booked for an Alaskan cruise in early September. And of course, we booked this excursion through our cruise line Celebrity. If the excursion is cancelled due to the strike, does anyone have ideas on how Celebrity will handle it? Thanks in advance

Haven't done that cruise or sailed with Celebrity, but we had an excursion cancelled (storm damage) in the Caribbean and Royal Caribbean refunded directly to our credit card.

When Celebrity or their contractor cancels an excursions you are refunded to the original form of payment.  -   eg.  OBC to OBC or CC to CC.    At 48 hours prior to the cruise the accounts are frozen and once on board if a cancellation takes place it is refunded to you account as either NR OBC or Refundable OBC.
