Ok, I first asked about Q barbecue restaurant.  I'd like to know favorite food items at Le Bistro, Cagneys, and Ocean Blue---- I asked on other thread how the chicken and beef choices were at Food Republic---My husband eats sushi, I can only eat there the beef and chicken.  Please include favorite deserts. We are skipping the Mexican and Italian restaurants, as  we eat that all the time at home.

@Jetswdo

Cagney's: Mine - Steelhead trout. Husband - filet. Kiddo - mac and cheese

Le Bistro: Mine - nada. Not my favorite restaurant. Husband - escargot

Ocean Blue: Mine - poached salmon (off menu). Husband - seafood "for two" plate,  Kiddo - mac and cheese

Desserts: Mine - lemon sorbet / meringue (I think it's only in the Haven) or grilled pineapple (Moderno). Husband - Cagney's 9 layer chocolate cake. Kiddo - mac and...just kidding. Chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream in all restaurants

Warmest, Amy

Cagney's

We don't like Cagney's because of the quality of food and service is poor. Both the Filet and NY Strip were disappointing our last time there

I would definitely skip Cagney's. Agree with bird - food quality is poor. I would reconsider your stance on Italian if you have Onda on your ship, it's great.

Le Bistro - French onion soup and filet

Ocean Blue - crab cake, iceberg wedge, fresh fish or lobster

Food Republic - elotes, firecracker shrimp, pork belly dumplings, whatever else I'm feeling that day (everything is good, no need for sushi)

Le Bistro and Ocean Blue are our favorites on every ship.

We have not had a bad meal at Le Bistro.  Filet with Fios Gras, Dover Sole, and Coq au vin are our favorite entrees.

Ocean Blue is our close 2nd.  The scallop appetizer with pork belly is great.    Any of the fresh fish with a variety of sauce choices are always wonderful.  The Cioppino was a bit salty one time, but the other time was perfect...

Cagney's has become a skip for us.  It's not that we've had a bad meal as much as it has been just OK.

Food republic has emerged as my favorite restaurant on NCL.  Small plate concept, so flavorful, and if you are using a latitudes food vouchers I've fed four with two vouchers.  Never had a bad dish at any Food Republic.  Look forward to going again.

I like the Mediterranean Sea Bass  or Dover Sole at Le Bistro. Rib eye and seven layer chocolate cake with ice cream from Cagney's. It is the best chocolate cake, and I can not believe it when I watch cruise vloggers who don't order it.

I know you said no to La Cucina, but the Ossobuco is really good, so tender and has a nice savory gravy.

LeBistro- Goat Cheese Croquet salad, the filet and Ile Flottante for dessert.

Cagney’s — basic steakhouse. Shrimp cocktail, petite filet, baked potato and OMG Butterscotch cheesecake.

Food Republic - new favorite specialty.  Firecracker shrimp, water chestnut & shitake dumplings (amazing flavor), all the rolls.

Los Lobos -  I wouldn’t waste a specialty dining credit, but I would pay ala carte for the table side guacamole and chips.

We don't eat pork so I have to tell restaurant ahead of time to leave off bacon on dishes we order.

I know Cagneys has mixed reviews-- so far on the few NCL cruises we have been on, the food was pretty good- can't really complain there. We would get the large beef fillet, because at home we usually just have once in a while rib-eye ( trying to not eat a lot of red meat)----

Le Bistro is my favorite .Escargot, with bread dipped in the left over butter/garlic sauce.  I wish i could have a main meal of that.  Haven't been impressed with Cagney's the last two times (I even walked out once and went to the buffett).   I don't do the italian ( I make pretty good I Italian meals).
