Yes if you mean at dinner.  They are always around.  Some waiters are prowling the open decks, but maybe a few less as they will be delivering drinks ordered via Ocean Now in the App.

How hard is it to walk up to a bar ?  They are everywhere

Agreed with this.  You can find a way to flag someone down but seeing someone walk around with a pad of paper or a tablet for taking orders directly is a rare sight, if it happens at all.  Best bet is to use the app or walk up to the bar.

on a busy pool deck I've found it more efficient to use the app than battle the crowd at the bar.  It takes a little planning and anticipation of when I'll be ready for the refill since delivery takes a little while but once I get a cadence going it's pretty handy.

On Sky in June 23......early evening onwards there were plenty of waiters walking around taking orders at your seat/table....this was in Piazza / Vines / Bellinis / Good Spirits / Crown Grill / Princess LIve.

Preferred to order from a person rather trust the app  (previous poor experience)....yup, I could walk to the bar, but in general, in the evening the bar staff were flat out making drinks for the waiters.  Always went to the pool bars during the day though

When you sit at the bar you get great service. We have almost always found places to sit for pre dinner drinks from 6:00 to 7:30

No doubt you do...sadly hogging seats at the bar precludes many others from ordering at the bar. 🙂

What?! Since when did sitting at the bar enjoying drinks become bar seat hogging?

There might have been plenty of waiters walking around but there were very few seats in any bar for passengers to sit whilst having their drink.

We have always found bar seating on all of our cruises.

I enjoyed sitting in a deck chair or at a slot machine and just telling the app what I wanted. It always seemed to work in a reasonable amount of time.

In the casino there are usually servers walking around you just have to get their attention

I rarely see a server in the casino, but I usually become friendly with the casino bartenders very quickly to get my virgin drinks.
