motability scooters and tender access

hello,  new to cruising with motability .

We are cruising onthe NCL ship   Norweigan Dawn, in September around the British Isles. We are unsure on tender procedure.  Will the crew lift our scooter from ship to tender for us. It weighs 27 kg/ 60 lbs .  Its a  TGA   minimo   autofold.  Or will it be up to us to lift it on.    Regards Gartoharn

It’s possible Le you will not be able to tender at all.  You must be able to walk down the steps into the tender.  I have never seen a scooter loaded into a tender, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t done.  There is really no place to put it on the tender.  EM

You might contact NCL's Access Desk to inquire about the tendering situation at your port stops.   There may be different types of tenders at each stop.

Unfortunately, your scooter will most likely not be able to go ashore.
