danigirl01 Posted August 5, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2023 (edited) Are there any hotels in Ft Lauderdale that offer shuttle service to the Port of Miami, even for a fee? Or are there any reputable shuttle service that I could use? Would Lyft or Uber be cheaper? Thank you in advance!! Tierun Posted August 5, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2023 (edited) Honestly I rented a car at FLL and returned it to MIA the morning of the cruise. Took an Uber for $17 from the rental car center to the port. It worked out to be cheaper than the shuttle services. Most cruise lines offer shuttle services to both airports. eta: Alamo used to run a free shuttle bus to the port before the pandemic. Hopefully they bring it back. tcruisin77 Posted August 5, 2023 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2023 We stayed at a Ft. Lauderdale hotel and had SAS transportation take us back and forth to Miami cruise port. $15 per person each way. Comfortable vehicle with plenty of room for luggage and our driver was safe. It is not private and will make stops at multiple hotels and cruise terminals. We would use them again.

We need to return to the hotel and can’t find a way to book that on their website.
tcruisin77 Posted September 10, 2023 #10 Share Posted September 10, 2023 We returned to FLL airport. I would try calling them to see if they can add a stop at your hotel. If not, but this is an extra step, you could get dropped off at the airport then take advantage of your hotel’s airport shuttle.
poocher Posted July 13 #11 Share Posted July 13 SAS left us high & dry last year. Yes I made an error in booking (day early) but they didn’t try to pick us up on the incorrect day either leading me to believe they knew the day was wrong. They had our cruise information, can’t tell me they didn’t know when the ship was sailing. Called MULTIPLE times & got voice mail with no return calls. Thank God for Joe Transportation Services. Happened to be picking up other passengers at our hotel & accommodated our party of six,
