I AM DIAMOND ON CARNIVAL AND HAVE OVER 32 CRUISES. I HAVE TWO ELITE CRUISES I WILL BE GOING ON IN AUGUST AND DECEMBER. I SENT SEVERAL REQUESTS TO THE CASINO DEPT TO ASK WHY I HAVE NOT GOTTEN FUN PLAY WHEN MY STOCK HOLDER BENEFIT HAS BEEN DENIED. I DID NOT EVEN GET THE RESPECT OF A REPLY. ELITE IS NOT GIVING MUCH OVER THE BENEFITS I ALREADY GET. PARKING AND A NOT SO HOT EXCURSION ARE THE THE ONLY BENEFITS ABOVE WHAT i ALREADY HAVE. i AM A SLOT SLUT  IN THE CASINO AS MY BROTHER WOULD CALL IT AS i SPEND ALOT OF TIME THERE.WHY CANT i GET A RESPONSE? iI HAVE SPENT FAR MORE THAN I WOULD LIKE TO ADMIT

casino offers are not supposed to get additional stockholder OBC.

if you're going on elite sailing, there are plenty of other benefits:

Stockholder benefits have only been denied that I know of for the, You cruise for $200 and we give you the $200 back cruises. Got one scheduled for Nov, not anticipating getting the credit on that one.

 

Going on a casino offer this weekend and got the credit...the cruise was still $2k plus.

Carnival doesn't give shareholder credit on Premier, Elite, Ultra, etc. bookings.  Before someone else chimes in that they got it, you may occasionally find someone who overlooked that and processed the shareholder credit anyway.

 

Basically you make the choice between shareholder credit on a regular fare and free room and perks on a Premier, Elite, Ultra, etc. cruise.

Call the general number and specifically ask that they transfer you to casino promotions

I just called to have a new rate code applied to our November 2024 sailing, they did it easy peasy. 

 

The rate code wasn't available for our February sailing, so they couldn't change that one.  But if you do a mock book, and the rate code has that sail date and ship available, you should be able to have the new code applied.  If it doesn't show up, it won't hurt to call, as it may just be sold out but they can still update the rate code.  That was the case for the November sailing.
