34TigerLily Posted August 19, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2023 How many cans of soda can you bring onboard?
birdiebill Posted August 19, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2023 I believe you can bring a 12 pack in aluminum cans. Princess says you have to carry them on with you rather than check them with the porters at embarkation.
CruisinCouple2010 Posted August 19, 2023 #3 Share Posted August 19, 2023 My husband and I each carry on one 12 pack of soda cans. Enjoy your cruise.
MissP22 Posted August 20, 2023 #4 Share Posted August 20, 2023 We brought on 1 liter bottles of soda/ diet lemonade at Ft Lauderdale earlier in the year with no question.
kywildcatfanone Posted August 20, 2023 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2023 (edited) The rule is 1 per person, but it's generally not enforced. We bring 2 each on and it's never been an issue. You can also get more in ports and bring on as needed. Edited August 20, 2023 by kywildcatfanone

I thought the rule was one 12 pack per person. But at least at FLL they don't seem to care has been my experience. Bring all you want at embarkation and ports. Additional bottles charged $20/bottle corkage. Soda water and other non alcoholic beverages. 12 x 12 ounce cans or cartons per person. Enforced?? Rare stevenr597 Posted August 20, 2023 #10 Share Posted August 20, 2023 I do wish that Princess would see a six pack in one of the shops.

disneyochem Posted August 20, 2023 #12 Share Posted August 20, 2023 Hubby actually packs a 12-pack in one of his pieces of luggage and hands it off to a porter. He’s never had an issue. Used to tote around that 12-pack once on board waiting for cabins to be available and got tired of doing that so now he packs it. We also pick up more soda at port stops—sometimes cans and sometimes in plastic bottles. Never an issue bringing onboard. He certainly enjoys his Coke Zero…..

I like coke and sprite zero which we have been unable to get onboard in the past.

No concerns about them breaking from the treatment? I've thought about putting them in luggage to not have to carry, or actually putting one in the luggage and one I carry, and do that with both our suitcases. But I have worried about them breaking because of treatment. Also, have read of some buying plastic bottles of water in 12 and 24 packs and putting a luggage tag on them and getting them delivered to the room. that would be nice if I thought it would work. Although it can get heavy, at least I can bring on my own brand which they don't carry.
