Princess Plus - What Gives?

Copied from the website just now on my booking:

 

Plus Beverage Package$76.69 per person, per day

Enjoy a wide range of drinks for $64.99 per day plus a 18% service charge.

 

 

Before I rebooked to reduce my fare, it was $60 with no service charge!

That is the beverage package by its own no requirement for 2 in cabin to have not the plus fare with Wi-Fi and gratuities which requires first 2 to take

That is the Princess Plus beverage package. It is not the Princess Plus fare.

 

Stupid naming by Princess.

Princess always lists the contents of a PLUS Cruise Fare Package and quotes the list price of each item.  If you booked the Cruise Fare package, the cost is $60/pp/day.

 

Nothing different than they have always done.  The beverage package price is over-inflated to make it seem like a great deal in the package. 

 

PS - IMO, the beverage package naming now aligns with the Cruise Fare Package in which it is included.
