Celebrity or Princess for 7 day Alaska cruise (summer 2025)

Wanting to finally do Alaska in summer 2025.  Don’t plan to do the land & sea this time and just do 7 day sea.  Also we want to end up in Vancouver for a few days post cruise (but would also consider pre cruise).

 

We are platinum on Princess but lately been more partial to Celebrity.

 

Wondering if anyone has experience and advice on

1) sailing Celebrity or Princess

2) do a closed loop or southern route that ends up in Vancouver

I think either is a good choice.  We are partial to Celebrity as well, but Princess is one of the few lines that is currently permitted to go to Glacier Bay, as 1025cruise and CruiserBruce indicate.  If that is a "must see", then Princess would be the choice of the two.

You didn't mention them, but HAL has been visiting Alaska for 76 years and does a fabulous job there. They have itineraries where spend a full day in Glacier Bay.
