Are there other cruise lines/ships that have a suite sun deck & dining room close to what's on Oasis?

Hello!

We've only cruised on RCCL the past 20 years or so and are now looking into other lines because the suite pricing is crazy high. We love the Oasis suite deck and eating at Coastal Kitchen and I'm hoping there is another ship that offers the same feel. I've looked at a few of the newer Carnival ships and watched a few videos of Loft 19. It looks as if the only shaded areas are the cabanas which are only available for an additional charge. Is that correct?

I guess I'm looking for opinions on other lines like NCL or Princess and if we'd be disappointed in their suite offerings. My husband prefers the larger ships since he has a hard time just sitting around. We thought the Oasis was perfect for us because it was nice to be able to escape the crowds by the pools and main dining room/Windjammer by eating at Coastal and not worrying about having to find a lounger outside.

NCL has the Haven; Celebrity has the Retreat; Suite area on Wonder and Utopia are much better than the suite area on prior Oasis Class ships.

Thanks, I'll have to look into pricing for MSC. I never think of that line when looking at cruises. One of their ships was in Boston this morning and the local news was at the port reporting about tourism and what the ship had to offer.

MSC tops them all with the Yacht Club. The only problem with MSC is when you leave the YC to go to a show or for any other reason, you are on Carnival. The same  crowd.

I plan never to leave the MSC YC unless escorted by my butler.  It's why I'm paying extra.  Price is half of Royal and 1/3 of Celebrity.  Plus we get to keep what's in the minibar rather then carry stuff back from the suite lounge like folks are reportedly doing on Celebrity.

We went to shows and sports bar outside of yacht club , they were fine .

We have experienced suites (lounges, sundecks, etc.) on Royal, Holland, MSC YC, and DCL.

Directly comparing each to Royal -

- Holland really felt like sailing on non-Royal Suites ship with RCL.  They have a lounge, no dedicated suites sundeck, and they do some dining options at breakfast but no suites dedicated restaurant.

- Disney is a little closer to Royal since there can be dedicated decks for suites on some ships and the lounge is nearby, others it is a little walk.  There is typically a suites sundeck and it varies from ship to ship with some being pretty nice.  They do not do suites dining.

- MSC, as others mentioned, is a nice suites products especially when considering price.  The rooms might be a little less in some cases but the Yacht Club experience is pretty nice.  The suites sundeck and pool area was far superior on our sailings.  The lounge and suites dining wins out over CK if you factor in the whole package, if you took some specific detials of an Oasis class CK, they win out on some.

Based on that a real way to tell if it is good or worth the cost is if we will consider them in the future.  We have two Royal cruises still planned, likely will only do Holland if there is a good deal on an interesting itinerary (since they have a little more variety), Disney is too limited and not for their prices so not likely, and MSC is a good possibly for a future YC sailing.

The Haven on NCL is pretty dang good on Breakaway or newer ships. It's not quite up to Star class service but I really like it.  Haven area is very nice.  Very nice Haven sundeck.  The Haven restaurant is excellent as well.  Butler service is included.  They can and will do anything they can for you though not quite a Genie. One nice thing is when getting back on the ship at ports head toward "The Haven" sign and bypass the long line.

These are from NCL Escape...
