Princess Casino marketing flavors

I'm very happy to receive casino marketing offers via email, but as I contemplate booking anything, I'd like to ask experienced Princess gamblers if there's an appreciable difference between the two branded offers I've received.  The two below came within two days of each other.

Yes, I can compare the offer details -- and I will -- but are they coming from different sides of casino operations, based on different tiers, is one more 'exclusive' than the other?  Can I book both and as many as I like?

(Just spitballing here as I have no idea....)

I cannot comment on any casino offers as I've never received any...even though I make "deposits" to the casino every cruise!  Interesting that both of the logos you posted are so similar...it would certainly make one think that it is in fact from the same group...though why would they be using different "names"?

You will need to read the fine print with the offers.  Most offers from the casino allow you to book 3 cruises per offer.  If the offer is giving you free play money, you only get the free money on the first cruise, no free play money for the second and third.

I got the "hearts" offer last week. The number I called was the same as the regular offer number. What I noticed though, the same offer gave me "Princess Standard" on some cruises (on top of everything else included in the offer), and "Princess Plus" on others. You will see that under "Your Fare Summary", "View applied promos"

So keep that in mind if free PP is a factor for your decision-making when you pick your cruise.

Advantage offers usually apply to any cruise within a specified time frame and up to a specified # of days.  These used to be called Core offers.

Hearts offers apply to a limited number of cruises on which special events are held.  You'll get some gifts in the cabin, free drinks while gambling, and you can participate in published events.  These used to be called VIP cruises.

Details should be in your mailer (email and / or snail mail).

The Hearts cruises are what used to be called the VIP cruises.  They are special sailings.  While on board, there will be some special activities in the casino for the invited guests, as well as a special Welcome Aboard party.  There will also be a gift delivered to your stateroom each day.  I just got off a Hearts cruise in September.  We received chocolate covered strawberries, truffles, a bottle of prosecco, some packing cubes, and something else that escapes me at the moment.  These are not based on how much you are playing onboard for the cruise, but are just part of the Hearts booking.  The other offer, I suspect, is just a general offer where you will have many more options as far as sailings and dates.  It will not come with all the goodies in your stateroom, and no special casino activites.

I don’t get it. 33 Princess cruises and I play blackjack about an hour or more a night.. I bet $10 up to as much as$100 a hand.

The best they have ever offered me is $300-$500 if I book a cruise

I think they gift slot players much better and those that play for longer than an hour or two, Just my thought.. We always get offers and play only slots.

Table players do get offers, but it is a little mysterious as to how those offers are calculated based on your play. It seems a little more subjective. DH plays craps - he's been told it's based on his time spent playing and level of play. He has also talked with fellow players who primarily play blackjack or poker and some of them get great offers. DH standard offer is generally a free inside with a certain amount of casino play dollars, but after our last cruise we got a free balcony come back offer. He also gets the "VIP" offers frequently and we have been able to do a couple of those when our schedule permits.

Best advice I can offer is take the time to introduce yourself to the casino host and make sure he or she is aware of your play and you are getting your medallion scanned every time you sit down. If you are on the radar and making sure your play is accurately logged, you probably stand a better chance.
