Cruise Compass

We just got back from our 1st cruise since before the pandemic hit. We returned to our beloved OASIS.

We had a WONDERFUL time...but were disappointed that RCCL no longer leaves the Cruise Compass on your bed every evening.

They don't even have them at Guest Services!!!

Not everyone has or relies on their iphone. I have always carried that paper with me all day!!!

If this is a "cut back"...then at least have some at Guest Services for those that want a tangible guide.

The app is still not ready!  I've had to delete and reinstall twice.

 

It's probably ship-dependent, but we have asked, and got, a cruise compass every day for the past year.

Who did you ask? Guest Services said they don't have them.

Your cabin steward should be able to leave you a copy each day, if you ask.

Onboard Radiance.  Not our first post covid cruise.  As usual we ask cabin attendant for a paper compass and as usual we get one.  No problem.

I too like to turn my phone off and leave it in the safe when we cruise. Since the restart, we've always asked our room steward to deliver one to our room and we have always had one delivered.

We asked our cabin steward on Harmony last month and he happily provided them .

I think its a good idea as not everybody wants one.

New cruisers will be using the app and probably dont even know they exist.

I also just got off Oasis, I have no problem downloading the compass to the phone, its the same exact thing as the printed copy but in PDF form, not the one on the app- that one kinda sucks. BUT if you wanted a paper copy, you just ask the room attendant. I saw quite a few of them tucked in doors at night while walking through the hallways.

We were on Enchantment in July and one was left at our door every day.
